We are dedicated to bringing Yoga, Ayurveda, and Meditation to women in the Shoals through partnering with local recovery facilities and other nonprofit organizations.

Danielle Snoddy, E-RYT 500 and founder of Shoals Yoga, has taught the self-healing practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to thousands of people since 2010. After having her own life and self-destructive tendencies transformed through many years of studying, practicing, and teaching, Danielle has a deep passion for serving others who are struggling to find peace within. Her most recent certification in Yoga of Recovery is based on Yoga, Ayurveda, and the 12 step program. She uses clear speech and a calm presence to inspire hope and faith in the hearts of those around her.

Brooke Rose, 200 RYT. Brooke has a background in social work with a concentration in child and family welfare. Brooke started practicing yoga in 2013 and fully believes in the benefits of the teachings. Brooke is interested in helping people cope with life's transitions by teaching them life long beneficial skills.

After working with women in various organizations and hospitals in the Shoals, we discovered a large need for the services we offer. We are here to enhance the ability of local organizations to offer ongoing, holistic education and support to the women seeking help. We are here to build strong relationships with organizations in the Shoals so that what we offer becomes a part of their menu of services. We offer clear and simple yoga instruction, Ayurveda workshops, and meditation to help women with a history of trauma or addiction to engage in self-healing and empower them to bring balance into their lives. The services we offer have been shown to improve overall quality of life for anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, anger management and addiction.
